In the efforts of promotion, I decided to build up a character that will be representable. I’ve been working to develop the character for the last couple of weeks. She will be my friend and working companion. I have the idea to produce promotional postcards and show her in different scenes for exhibitions and so on.
The girl is made of polymer clay (shoes and face) I painted the face in acrylics. Her body has a wire armature, covered with foam. I made the clothing of fabric scraps. Hope you like her.
As you can see, I’m exploring the concept of constructing illustrations by using sculptures and real objects and then use a combination of the photograph with other images and some good old photoshop techniques.
